There is no shortage of coverage on Canada's new copyright reform. While ACTRA called Canada's DMCA a 'good first step', a member seems to be dismayed by the stance, let alone the copyright reform bill. One of the groups that CRIA showed off was a group known as ACTRA (Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists) who, in a press release, said that C-61 was 'a good first step'. It's an interesting stance considering back in January were reports about strikes over being paid - namely in new media or online revenues.
