HI my names BIGBROOKSY and I am going to try to keep you up to date with the new releases of OS (operating systems) and applications that are available out there. I personally love Linux but I do run a dual boot system so I use windows and do see a use for it so I’m not completely bias.
As my first post Id like to introduce you to a nice little live distro called knoppix 5.3.1 (they state its probably the world’s greatest live distro) at first look I couldn’t see a difference in it as I have looked at various distros but in looking closer I saw a use for both Linux users and novices and even windows users it is great in troubleshooting broken pc as it has a fast boot time and you can check your hardware with it. It also incorporates the latest technology and you can run it directly from the DVD without it touching your hard disk handy if you want to check you emails or talk on msn on another pc without leaving a trace. It includes kde4, virtual box, compiz fusion, adriane audio desktop, and much more.
So overall this is a nice live distro and most of all its free
